Reinvented.

In 2005, the headquarters of Switch® opened in Nyon, Switzerland. Our central European location facilitated close collaboration with our design, electronics and production teams in Italy, as we grew our global brand with a singular ambition: to re-style bowling through unique design with international appeal.

To enable the company to maintain the promise of high quality goods at competitive prices, the headquarters and factory relocated to the port city of İzmir, Turkey in 2013. Switch® benefits from a well-staffed, energetic team as well as the proximity to excellent sea, air and land transport links. We still maintain a close relationship with our European designers and suppliers.

Today, Switch® systems operate in bowling centres across more than 50 countries — from premium entertainment complexes in the Gulf to family entertainment centres in Central Europe. Each installation carries the complete weight of our after-sales infrastructure.

The Factory Behind
the Product

Our production facility in the Tekeli Organised Industrial Zone is the operational heart of Switch®. It is where European design meets Aegean precision — and where every unit undergoes full quality assurance before shipping to any corner of the world.

The move to İzmir in 2013 was a deliberate strategic decision. The port city's exceptional sea, air and land transport links enable same-day dispatch of spare parts to DHL hubs worldwide. Our R&D laboratory and full-scale test lane ensure every prototype is validated under real operating conditions before it reaches a single customer.

We still maintain a close and active relationship with our European designers and suppliers. İzmir is where we build; Europe is where we dream.

Alain Winterhalter's innovative vision propelled Switch® to international prominence in the bowling industry. With over forty years in the entertainment and leisure sector, his knowledge and expertise continue to ensure Switch® remains a brand of excellence for developers and investors worldwide.

Chief Executive Officer

A graduate in Mathematical Engineering, Ahmet Solmaz became the exclusive point-of-sale distributor for IBM in Turkey before expanding into Bowling Capital Equipment. He became a Switch® partner in 2013. His technical and managerial expertise guides project development and champions high standards.
