Switch attends the Dubai DEAL show 2012.

DEAL Dubai Entertainment And Leisure show which is taking place form April 17th to 19th is the region’s best show of its kind. International visitors attended from all over the Middle East. Switch Middle East President Ahmed El Komy mentions that although there has been fewer people this year mainly due to the unrest in the region, those that have attended are quality clients with the intent to purchase. Switch Middle East is continuing its growth pattern as per plan with opening of several new centres in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our plan is to intensify our presence by helping our clients and investors to achieve great returns in our state of the art Switch centres says Ahmed El Komy.

New Bowling in Russia!

At the last days of the December new multifunctional leisure center was opened in Anapa, in one of the sunniest cities on the Black seashore. It is a place with pleasant and exciting activities both for children and their parents: 6 bowling lanes from Switch, restaurant, café.
It was a successful opening – our congratulations!

Switch France inaugurates the ‘’Bowling du Trèfle’’

Switch France inaugurates the ‘’Bowling du Trèfle’’ in Molsheim in a newly developed 100% entertainment centre, with multi plex 12 screen cinemas, a Pizza Pasta Restaurant, a Burger place, Laser Tag, Potato meals restaurant and right opposite the world famous Bugatti car manufacturing facilities . The 28 lanes centre features Switch Pininfarina designed equipment complimented by the latest sound and light technology and is comprised of restaurant, billiard area. This is a double WOW factor centre for Switch in France, there is nothing like it and we are already looking forward to our next project says President Switch France Brice Wohlgemuth . In September two Russian bowling centers have opened their doors to the visitors after the modernization.

Entertainment center “Bowling Center” in Krasnoyarsk, the biggest city in the Central and Eastern part of Siberia, has changed a lot. For example, now the new system is used to count the score – the modern score system SWITCH 2 with 32’’ LCD monitors was installed instead of the previous variant. All fans of bowling will appreciate their time in a bright, friendly and democratic “Bowling Center”.
Another entertainment center “Nikita” in Bryansk was opened in the end of September after its full reconstruction. Now there are 6 new synthetic bowling lanes with luminosity and the modern score system SWITCH 2 with 32’’ LCD monitors. Even the smallest players now will be able to try the game – new lanes have special child-friendly borders. All these improvements will make a leisure time in bowling center “Nikita” better.

Switch on Muztagh Ata 7546mt

Switch is very proud to congratulation Davide Silvestri Manager of the Logistics department and one of our shareholders for his achievement.
Having departed from Modena on July 23. Travelled to Beijing and then Kasghar and finally to the foot of mount Muztagh Ata towering at 7546mt.
Muztagh Ata is in Xianjiang in the province of the Turkestan, China.
Davide has been preparing for this expedition since 18 months. The object was to ascend mount Muztagh Ata carrying his own equipment, without oxygen masks and then snow board down.
It took 14 days to go up, stage by stage, confronting all the elements, sleeping in one man tents, temperature of -…… tough tough conditions and finally making it to the top, summit was the shout albeit in Italian Cima. Of course Davide did not forget to wear his Switch cap for the photo.
Davide learn a lot not only about the nature and the difficulties, but also about his limits and his mental abilities. At times say Davide I wanted to give up, I had to fight and push myself to continue. It has taught me a lot and it is the best experience of my life to date.
Snowboarding down was magnificent
Congratulations to Davide and also for your teammates Mirco Robaldo and Marco Trisconi, well done from all of us at Switch.
